Event Description

Ride individually or gather a team of family and friends and raise funds that will help bring hope to refugees locally in Australia and around the world.  Grab your bike – and your helmet! and come along for a great day out.  You can cycle 25, 50, 75 or 100kms.  Whatever the distance, it’s all about making a difference in the lives of our refugees friends through the funds you raise.

Peter Watt Criterium Track

Toowoomba Showgrounds, 30 Harvey Rd, Glenvale

There is plenty of parking onsite, please follow the directions of our friendly volunteers.
Check-in opens at 8am at the Registration Tent.
The official start will be at 9am (with all riders to be off the course by 3pm)

The RIDE Route

The Peter Watt Criterium Track is a 1.7km loop of undulating terrain. As you ride past the start/finish line you will be greeted with bells (akin to Tour de France) and lots of cheering and support!

To complete your distance, do the necessary laps in one hit – or take it a bit easier and stop for a rest or two between laps.

The Kids RIDE Track is being held in the grounds of the Peter Watt Criterium Circuit and will be marked out with markers/safety cones. Parents must be responsible for their children at all times.

Parents can set up a blanket on the grassed area and easily watch the kids as they pedal, scoot, have a jump on the castle or get their face painted.


Registered riders can help themselves to snacks, drinks and lunch at the catering tent as part of their registration pack. Guests and supporters can grab something to eat and pop a $2 donation in the bucket.

Lunch will commence at 12:00pm. It will be held at the Start/Finish, and will be a great chance to thank everyone for participating and to celebrate the day. Coffee and tea will be available all day in the same place. If you love your coffee as much as your bike, Jamie and his team will be there with the HumeRidge coffee trailer selling your favourite coffee.

Highest Toowoomba Fundraiser

Thanks to our generous sponsor, Archidiom, the highest adult fundraiser at each event will receive a voucher to spend at a nominated bike shop in each location.

Cash, cheque & direct deposit donations must be received by our office 5pm Friday 13th September to be included in the rider’s total.

Winners will be announced through our social media feeds and will be contacted via email.
