Sydney RIDE will be held on August 18th 2012

You can gather a team to RIDE and raise funds that will help refugees worldwide and complete the kids short 2km course a number of times or 25km course. Or you could take up the challenge of riding hard and completing 50km, 75km or even the full 100km option. Either way it’s all about helping others through your efforts and the funds that you are able to raise.

A Kids Jumping castle is planned be on site again this year , weather permitting.

Held at Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Saxony Rd. Horsley Park

Registration opens at 7.30am at the Welcome Centre.  The RIDE will start at 9am this year and riders will be started in their distance groupings with 100km riders going first.  We are anticipating that all cyclists will be finished their RIDE  effort and be off the course by 3pm.

Refreshments

While riding there will be two drinks stations along the route, which will be there to provide a rest stop, free snacks and drinks and a friendly volunteer ready to help you with your bike if you have a problem.

Throughout the day there will be a free BBQ with drinks and salads open from 10am – 4pm at the Welcome Centre.  Free coffee and tea will be available all day in the Welcome Centre.  A coffee cart will also be available on site for those wishing to purchase coffee and snacks.

The Kids RIDE Route is being held in the grounds of the Equestrian Centre and is 2km long on paths and it can be ridden as many times as they like. see map
